Must Have Power
I've given a lot of thought to this, and I've decided to spend a little extra dough on a shiny new Astrodyne power supply. Twelve volts and 25 amps of pure, short-circuit protected DC bliss. I'll use a DC/DC converter to step the power down to handle B9's 6 volt power requirements.
My old power supply was purchased a few years back from a computer surplus store. It was capable of handling anything I could throw at it, plus it had the 12v and 5v outputs. The bad news: it was big, noisy and smelled funny. Reminds me of my high school phys-ed instructor.
The next step is to purchase a terminal console with fuses. I'll get it from Terminal Town. These guys have a lot of nifty electrical odds and ends for the robot builder.
