Showing on the Radar
This is the second radar section I've acquired during the construction of my robot. As you can see, I've used the two-tone paint scheme from the second and third season of LIS.
In order to avoid masking and overspray, I painted the parts separately. Once they had enugh time to dry thoroughly, I carefully solvent-welded them together.
The gun metal color is Duplicolor T177, the silver is Duplicolor T229. I really like the contrast between the two shades. The fins on the top of the radar section have an interesting "spider" like quality.
